Carbon Credits

Many activities we engage in as part of our lives, travelling, driving, cooking, building and so on incur a carbon debt.

Organisations and individuals may sooner than we think be obliged to account for that debt in one form or another.

In the mean time, individuals and organisations are choosing, for ethical reasons to purchase carbon credits now. These credits may be used by the selling organisation to plant trees, promote or install renewable energy stystems.

Some of the links which appear on this page as it grows, will help the visitor decide what the different options may involve.

Already, in these early days of carbon trading, many shady deals appear to have been done and the situation may appear to allow heavy polluters to appear to be doing the right thing but be polluting more than ever.
